Yetman and Rock Wren Trail
This is an out and back hike that is 6.3 miles long but there are options to make the hike shorter if you choose.
This popular trail in Tucson Mountain Park combines the Yetman and Rock Wren routes for a beautiful journey through the Sonoran Desert. Hikers and bikers navigate a rocky, rolling landscape surrounded by iconic saguaro cacti, offering excellent views and a chance to spot the trail’s namesake bird. The path also leads to the historic ruins of the Bowen Stone House, which is a good place to turn around if you’d like a shorter hike.
Meet Time - 7am at the Camino de Oeste Trailhead
Distance - 6.3 miles
Elevation Gain -498 feet
